I stayed in the Harris Beach Park, courtesy of the State of Oregon. The view from the campground is incredible. There's really big surf today. I don't know if it's characteristic of the region, but I was surprised not to see surfers at some of the beaches. The waves were seting up really nicely.
This campground is a little more comfortable than Champoeg in the sense that the sites are not quite so tightly packed. It's still not up to the standards for campgrounds I like in the east, where it's possbile to be relatively invisible from the next campsite over.
I'm using today as a maintenance day. I got a haircut on the way out of Corvalis. Tonight, I'm catching up on laundry.
